What to Do If You Get a Bill You Don’t Understand?
Sometimes you may receive a bill from a doctor, hospital, or pharmacy that’s confusing or looks incorrect. Don’t worry—your plan includes support to sort it out.
Steps to take:
- Compare the bill with your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) in the member portal. This shows what the plan paid and what (if anything) you owe.
- If the bill doesn’t match your EOB or you’re unsure, contact the Plan Concierge at 608-506-1336 or questions@selffundhealth.com.
- The Plan Concierge team will work directly with the provider to clarify or correct the billing.
Tip: Always present your new Self Fund Health ID card at visits to prevent billing issues.
