What to Do If You’re Having Surgery or Other Expensive Care?

If you have an upcoming surgery, cancer treatment, chemotherapy, or other high-cost care, your plan gives you access to top-tier providers at little to no cost.

Steps to take:

1. Contact your Nurse Navigator right away at nurse@selffundhealth.com or 608-284-8831.

2. Your nurse will review your care plan, explain your options, and help connect you with Preferred Providers whenever possible.

   For complex or expensive cases, we often have access to $0 cost surgeries and treatments at world-class organizations like:

   • Johns Hopkins
   • Cleveland Clinic
   • University of Illinois – Chicago
3. Your nurse will coordinate with your Direct Primary Care (DPC) doctor and specialists to make sure you receive high-quality care at the best possible value.

By working with your nurse before expensive care, you not only protect yourself from unnecessary bills but also gain access to nationally recognized centers of excellence.
