How to Use Your CapitalRx Pharmacy Benefits?

Your prescription coverage is provided through CapitalRx. Nearly all major pharmacies are in-network, and your pharmacy information is printed on your insurance ID card.

Getting Started:

  • Bring your new ID card to the pharmacy so they can update your records.
  • Most prescriptions will process as usual with no disruption.

Managing Your Medications:

  • Check Coverage & Costs: Use the CapitalRx Portal to look up drug coverage, track pharmacy claims, and compare prices.
  • Find In-Network Pharmacies: Search for participating pharmacies here.
  • Request Refills Early: Some expensive drugs require prior authorization, which takes extra time. Order refills well in advance.

Extra Savings:

If you’re on a high-cost medication, check CanaRx (WebID: SFHEALTH) to see if it’s available for free through international partners. If your drug isn’t listed, contact your nurse navigator for help.
